A group of local archers are headed north this week for the Alberta Winter Games. Competing out of the Picture Butte Archery Club are Darcy Juhar, Luke Teneyke, Nick Sekura, JT Sekura, Farren Sawyers, Darien Ramsden, Lyssa Watmough and Colten Gurr. They will all be competing Feb. 4 to 7 in the games hosted by the Lakeland Region with events in Bonnyville, the M.D. of Bonnyville and Cold Lake. They are traveling with head coach Jude Hooey and assistant coaches Delin Watmough and Tammy Teneyke. The club shoots weekly in Picture Butte. |
