Red Apple Stores Inc. is excited to announce the Grand Opening of the newly renovated Red Apple Store – conveniently located in downtown Coaldale, at 1701-20th Avenue. The new location celebrates its opening on the Victoria Day long weekend May 21 through May 24.
Following major renovations to update the store from The Bargain! Shop format, this new addition to the Red Apple banner will offer a revitalized shopping experience, along with the incredible savings and convenience customers have come to expect, according to a recent media release to celebrate the new location.
It was stated in the release, the Red Apple format offers customers all the products they previously enjoyed when shopping at The Bargain! Shop – but customers will find some exciting additions to this new store.
According to the media release, the Red Apple Store will feature its signature CandyworksTM, a shop-withina-shop that offers a wide-selection of candies and sweet treats. Along with brand-name fashions, toys, grocery and home products at incredible savings – the renovated Coaldale location offers customers a more convenient shopping experience by adding a lottery kiosk to purchase national and provincial lottery tickets.
It was noted in the release, the new Red Apple will also offer customers an enhanced personal shopping experience – featuring better product adjacencies, new flooring, upgraded store fixtures, bold in-store signing and wider aisles.
In addition, over the Victoria Day long weekend, customers can enter for a chance to win a shopping spree valued at $1,000. Ballots will be available instore, with no purchase necessary.
“While the challenges of this past year have left an indelible mark on all communities across the country, the small towns we at Red Apple Stores Inc. call home have been especially hard-hit by the restrictions on retail. We are proud of the ongoing efforts made by our warm and welcoming staff, and will continue to do everything we can to keep our customers and team members safe,” stated Clinton Wolff, president and CEO of Red Apple Stores Inc.
“And though the re-launch of The Bargain! Shop to our updated Red Apple stores format is certainly an occasion worth celebrating, we are sensitive to the concerns customers and team members alike are experiencing due to the pandemic. In part, that is why we are also offering curbside pick-up, where customers can call or e-mail their local store to place an order and then have their purchases delivered to them at curbside – all while maintaining appropriate physical distancing – both from our store associates, as well as from other customers,” it was added, in the media release.
