A unique traveling exhibit on Alberta's Chinese restaurants has arrived at the Nobleford Museum.
"Chop Suey on the Prairies: Reflections of Chinese Restaurants in Alberta" is on tour through September and will be at the Nobleford museum until the end of May. Julie Pike, President of the Nobleford Area Museum, said the exhibit was on display in Medicine Hat previous to coming to the village. Nobleford is the only museum in southwestern Alberta who will be hosting the traveling exhibit.

Roots of Empathy resonates with students PDF Print

The Roots of Empathy program, which focuses on raising the levels of empathy in young children, has been running in Coaldale since 2001.
Under the direction of Barons-Eureka-Warner the program runs in 16 different communities in Alberta, from Coaldale, to the southern border and even Grassy Lake.

Poll-to-poll look at election PDF Print

The official vote counts from Little Bow’s 66 polling stations were released last week, with most numbers from the April 23 election bearing out a landslide victory for Wildrose candidate Ian Donovan.
The following numbers represent aggregate totals of polling stations from the various communities throughout the riding.

County taxes up almost 5 % PDF Print

Residents of the County of Lethbridge can expect to see a tax increase between four and five per cent this year depending on their individual property assessments.
Taxes in the County are due by July 31 and notices will be in the mail in the coming weeks.

A murder-mystery in the school of R.I. Baker took place last week Wednesday and Thursday for the school's annual Spring Production. The interactive play that involved audience members comprised students of grades 5-8.
