Effective Tues., Sept. 23, a Fire Restriction is in place for Lethbridge County.
Hot, dry conditions and a lack of recent moisture have significantly increased wildfire risk across the region.
All active fire and fireworks permits are now cancelled, and no new permits will be issued.

The County regularly monitors local weather conditions, vegetation levels and forecasts to make informed decisions about fire restrictions. These measures are put in place to protect people, property and the land.
