Donate wholeheartedly to the Alberta wildfires appeal

Dear Editor:

Last week I was overwhelmed to see the wildfires in Jasper, Alta. take over the town in minutes leaving debris all over the place. As I watched our Premier Smith showed her emotions and committed to Albertans that her government will help rebuild because when she was little her parents and grandparents took her to the park for a picnic, and it meant a lot to her personally. 

The Government of Canada and the Government of Alberta will match every dollar donated by Canadians to the Canadian Red Cross 2024 Alberta Wildfires Appeal. Many families had to leave their homes at a moment’s notice. Help us provide them with financial assistance and respond to their basic needs.
