Town Councillor Jordan Sailer has officially announced his candidacy for re-election in the upcoming municipal election on Oct. 20.

First elected to Coaldale Town Council in 2021, Councillor Sailer has built a reputation as a thoughtful and principled decision-maker. Known for his careful research, attention to detail, and commitment to representing residents’ interests, Jordan has been a steady voice for fiscal responsibility, sustainable growth, and practical solutions that benefit the community.

During his time on Council, Jordan has contributed to:

• Supporting key infrastructure investments, including upgrades to municipal roads, recreation facilities, and essential utility systems, ensuring services keep pace with Coaldale’s growth.

• Advocating for policies that promote responsible financial management, protecting taxpayers while planning for the town’s long-term needs.

• Asking tough but necessary questions at the Council table to ensure decisions are well-informed and in the best interest of the community.

• Helping to strengthen regional collaboration with neighbouring municipalities and organizations to improve shared services and economic opportunities.
