At the Oct. 15 Lethbridge County Organizational Meeting, Tory Campbell of Division 2 was elected Reeve, and John Kuerbis of Division 4 was elected Deputy Reeve. Both are serving a year term in these positions until October 2027.
Campbell has been on Council since 2017 and is in his third term. This will be his sixth consecutive year as Reeve.
“As I enter this next year as Reeve, I will work alongside Council to build on the progress we’ve made in positioning the County as a great place to live, work and invest,” said Reeve Tory Campbell. “Our residents, communities, producers and businesses are the heart of the County, and they remain at the centre of every decision we make. I look forward to the year ahead.”
Deputy Reeve Kuerbis has been on Council since 2021 and is in his second term. This will be his fifth consecutive year as Deputy Reeve.
“Serving as Deputy Reeve for a fifth year is an honour, and I’m proud of the working relationship this Council has built,” said John Kuerbis. “We remain focused on delivering value for our ratepayers and positioning the County for success well into the future.”
Council also selected members to sit on the internal and external boards, committees, and commissions where a Council representative is required. A full list is available on our website at http://www.lethcounty.ca.
