*ALERT* Unsafe ice at Broxburn storm ponds

Lethbridge County urges citizens to stay off the ice at the storm ponds located at Broxburn Business Park off Highway 3. The county intends to pump the pond to make room for the spring melt, which will result in unsafe ice conditions.
Children have been reported playing ice hockey on the storm pond and with the upcoming work, paired with the warm weather, it is unsafe for any person or animal to be on the ice.
