The Don Shimek UFA Initiation #1 Blades laced up against the Lethbridge Blue Lightening on Friday night in Picture Butte.
The Blades played a great game with lots of passing and team work.

The Initiation #1 Blades play their last game of the season on Mar. 14 at 9:30 a.m. against their hometown rivals, the Picture Butte Jim Juris Initiation #2 Blades.

The Blades came out flying and skated away with a 7-3 win over the Hurricanes.
Cameron Hillaby scored three for the Blades, while Braxton Hanna and Riley Hillaby each scored two.
Braxton Hanna and Rhett Serfas each had an assist.
The Blades meet up against the Oil Kings for game two of the two-game series tonight at 6:50 p.m.
