• RCMP issued safety warning as kids headed to school
Southern Alberta Newspapers
Early Friday morning, Sept. 12, RCMP issued a safety warning after two bulls, described as “dangerous and aggressive” escaped while being transported.
Shortly after 8 a.m., RCMP released a statement saying they were “currently assisting farmers round up what are described to be dangerous and aggressive bulls.”
The bulls were located north of Highway 3 around 18 Ave in Coaldale, and RCMP “wanted parents to be aware, especially if kids were walking to school,” said the release.
A short time later, RCMP sent out a follow-up release stating that the escaped bulls have been corralled.
“Thanks to the grit and rugged skills of the cowboys and the dog, the bulls were contained and loaded into a trailer without further incident around 8:30 a.m.”
