Canada Post employees are back on the picket line this week.
Mail delivery of your subscription will be affected by the Canadian Union of Postal Workers strike, and we understand that the last strike was difficult and inconvenient for many of our readers.
“We’re still optimistic Canada Post and its union will come to an agreement soon, but the reality is anticipating the outcome of a labour negotiation is like staring into a crystal ball,” said Trevor Busch, managing editor of the Alberta Communities Group, a division of Southern Alberta Newspapers. “We will do what we can to make any interim transition as smooth and seamless as possible for our valued readers and subscribers.”
Southern Alberta Newspapers, which includes two dailies and eight weekly publications spanning two provinces, continues to make every effort to insulate our readers from the negative impacts of mail disruptions by providing a wide variety of other options to access your subscription.
To ensure uninterrupted access to local news for readers and subscribers, you can switch your Sunny South News print subscription to the ePaper by giving us a call at Sunny South News at 403-545-2258 or email circulation@abnewsgroup.com.
