The Picture Butte Firefighters’ Association held a community barbecue fundraiser last week to raise funds for fire relief in Fort McMurray. According to Picture Butte Emergency Services’ Deputy Fire Chief Amy West, the event brought in a grand total of $64,218, which was presented to the Red Cross. West said the event had one very large donation of $50,000 from VanRaay Paskal Farms.
