Town of Coalhurst
The Town of Coalhurst hosted its first advance voting opportunity for the Municipal Election on Tuesday, Oct. 14 at the Coalhurst Community Centre.
A total of 126 advance voters turned out for the first day, out of about 2,046 eligible electors in the town. Voters will have another advance voting opportunity on Sat. Oct. 18, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Coalhurst Community Centre.
Election Day is Mon. Oct. 20, and residents may cast their ballots from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Coalhurst Community Centre at 527 50 Ave.
In the Town of Coalhurst 2025 Municipal Election, voters will elect one mayor and four councillors. The elected council will serve a four-year term until the next scheduled general municipal election in 2029.
A total of 672 Coalhurst residents voted, of 2,030 eligible voters, or 33 per cent in the 2021 municipal election.
