New season for Copperheads

Posted on September 15, 2015 by Sunny South News

The defending 2014-15 Coaldale Copperheads League Champions provided quite the season last year for fans.
This past weekend, the team has moved forward and started their tryouts for the 2015-16 roster selection.
Coaches Derek Wiest and Jeremey Kenyon were impressed on the talent that showed up to camp.
Together, they feel super positive this could be another awesome year for the Snakes.
New goals of winning provincials and heading to the Keystone are the team’s next vision.
With the strong core of returning players and the strength of additions to the line-up, this really could be a great year for Coaldale.
The Copperheads invite fans out for free admission to an exhibition game Sept. 19 at 5:15 p.m. at the Snake Pit against Okotoks. The majority of the team selection will be made following that weekend.
A league home opener is set for Sept. 26 at 8:30 p.m. against the High River Flyers.
Regular season admission to the Copperheads games after eight seasons has now been increased to the following pricing: Adults 18 plus $7, youth 6-17 years old $4 and under 6 years of age free.
If interested, the team has now posted a new website, where fans can find many new user-friendly additions. Some of these include links to the team’s Twitter and Facebook feeds, updates on standings and scheduling of games.
