Grad, through the eyes of a middle school student

I’m a Grade 6 student and the subjects I like in school are math and writing.
Graduation is coming up soon for a lot of students, so it makes me think about the day when I graduate.
When I get older I want to be like Tara Strong — she is a voice actor for many TV shows and films. To be a voice actor, you need to study in radio and broadcasting. The reason I want to be a voice actor is because I like to do impersonations and impressions and I’m pretty good at it, if I do say so myself. I also want to be a voice actor because of Tara Strong. I watch all her cartoons and she’s my idol.
If that fails, I’d also want to be a doctor or surgeon or work in an emergency room. The reason I would want to be a doctor is because blood or broken bones don’t really scare me. I’m also interested in helping people for a living.
Graduation for me, means your whole world is ahead of you. Anyone can be anything they want. Be a doctor, be a teacher, be a superstar — it’s all up to you, but you need to work for it, you’re not going to become a doctor in a night. It takes many years in university to work for it.
I am excited for graduation, but also scared. Sure I work now, as a babysitter and on a farm, but it’s going to be harder once I graduate.
To be valedictorian when I graduate is a dream for me. It would be awesome. Also, to get a sports scholarship would be an other dream. Soccer and basketball are my two absolute favourite sports and I love to play them.
I wish everyone luck who is graduating soon.
