10 years strong

Dear Editor:
It’s been 10 years ago we started to make blankets in Coaldale.
We really want to thank our community and those around us for making this possible.
You have supplied us with all the yarn and many squares.
We hope to have made 1,600 blankets soon. If you like math, there are 56 squares in a blanket. A small ball makes two squares.
Can you imagine the pile of yarn that would be?
We hope to have an open house, so you can see where we work and how we do it.
The coffee will be on, so come by between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Sept. 1.
Hope to see many of our unseen and unknown donators.
