Craig elected to AUMA

Members of the Alberta Urban Municipalities Association (AUMA) recently elected Coaldale Mayor Kim Craig, as vice-president of towns.

Craig, along with others, make up the 2013/2014 AUMA Executive Committee.

Executive Committee members were announced at the Association’s annual convention and trade show.

The AUMA president is elected annually. The other members of the 15-member board serve two-year terms.

The Executive Committee is made up of the president and five elected vice-presidents, representing the cities of Calgary and Edmonton, as well as cities under 500,000, towns, villages and summer villages.

Grande Prairie city councillor Helen Rice, was elected as the AUMA’s new president.
