Fire Advisory in Effect for Lethbridge County

Dry, warm and windy conditions are increasing the fire hazard in Lethbridge County.
If possible, the public is asked to postpone burning activities until the advisory has been lifted.
If burning activities cannot be postponed, please pay close attention to the conditions, monitor your fire constantly and adhere to your obligations under the Fire Permit Bylaw #1424 and your Burning Permit. If at any time you are not able to control your fire, call 9-1-1.
If conditions persist, the county may impose a fire ban at any time. If a fire ban is imposed, you must immediately and fully extinguish your fire.
