David Schneider, the opposition Wildrose MLA for Little Bow, has opened a constituency office in Coaldale.
The new office on the town’s main street will replace a Vulcan location as his main office. It’s been opened on the top floor of a building next to the town offices on 20 Avenue.
Office hours will run Tuesday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., he said. Friday meetings will be by appointment.
Glenn Miller and Terry Sheen have been hired as constituency assistants, Schneider added. The Vulcan office will remain open as a “satellite” facility.
“I continue to learn more about the diversity of the riding,” he said. “Having this additional office in Coaldale allows me to engage with a greater number of people, groups and organizations.”
While the rural constituency stretches north close to the Calgary city limits, Schneider pointed out most voters live in the southern end.
