Coaldale RCMP resolve two theft investigations thanks to public tips

According to a recent media release, within the past week members of the Coaldale Municipal RCMP have received tips from the public reporting what they believed were stolen items listed on social media sites. The subsequent RCMP investigation confirmed various items listed for sale within Coaldale were stolen. These items included DVDs, toys and various hand tools.

The Coaldale RCMP wish to thank the public for reporting to the police suspicious activities including those noted on social media sites. The public is further reminded in some cases if the deal appears to be “too good to be true,” it may be the items offered for sale are stolen.
