Picture Butte RCMP investigate fatal motor vehicle collision

On Sept. 29, at 8:10 p.m., Picture Butte and Coaldale RCMP responded to a single vehicle collision, which occurred on Highway 25.
A loaded semi-trailer travelling northbound failed to negotiate a turn and rolled into the northbound ditch. The 64-year-old driver of the truck, and lone occupant, was declared deceased on scene.
All possible contributing factors related to this collision are currently being investigated by the RCMP. The name of the deceased driver will not be released.
