A 72-year-old Lethbridge man is dead after a two-vehicle crash southeast of Lethbridge on June 9.
Coaldale RCMP say they were called to Highway 4 near Range Road 210 at 8:11 p.m. The crash involved a Volkswagen Jetta and a Mitsubishi Outlander, police say.
The man was declared dead at the scene.
The two people in the Outlander were taken to hospital. One was flown to a Calgary hospital by STARS Air Ambulance. The other was driven to Calgary by ground ambulance. Police say both had serious injuries.
The highway was closed for several hours. It has since reopened.
In a media release, RCMP said it “sends its condolences to family and friends of the deceased.”
The crash is still under investigation.
