Three games on tap Thanksgiving long weekend

Eight different skaters found the back of the net, as the Coaldale Copperheads skated to their fifth straight win — cruising past the Ponoka Stampeders by a score of 9-2 on Saturday night.
Graham Dugdale was the game’s lone multi-goal scorer, as he finished with a pair of goals and one assist. Dillan Kelly made 17 saves in goal to register his 40th career HJHL win.
Austin Holmes, Austyn Moser, Ryan Tessmaker, Dustin Houghton, Matt Krusky, Makenzie Karl and Brendon Benson each found the back of the net to round out the Coaldale (5-0-0) offence.
The Copperheads will be playing three games at home this coming Thanksgiving weekend.
This Saturday, the team will be playing the defending HJHL champions Mountainview Colts at 8:30 p.m. On Sunday at 8 p.m., the team goes up against the Three Hills Thrashers and Monday at 2:30 p.m. the team welcomes the Medicine Hat Cubs.
