Sneak Peak of the Snakes

After a strong try out, the Coaldale Copperheads got down to the last few cuts this weekend, after two exhibition games with their closest rivals, the Medicine Hat Cubs. Hosting the Cubs on Saturday at the Snake Pit, the Copperheads walked away to a 10 -2 victory out shooting the Cubs 42 to 24. The pre-season game was well attended as loyal fans of the Copperheads were treated to what should be a sneak peek of a very successful season.

Sunday the Copperheads headed to the Hat and and stepped it up a notch, crushing the Cubs 15 -2 which may be a new club record for goals in one game.

Regular season commences, Saturday Sept. 23 at 8:30 p.m. as the High River Flyers come to tangle with the Snakes for their home opener. Sponsorship and season tickets are available anytime in advance by email coaldalecopperheads@hotmail.com
