Spring Craft Fair on May 23

The Coaldale Public Library will host the 2026 Spring Craft Fair from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 23.

“The Spring Craft Fair is organized as a fundraiser by the Coaldale Public Library Friends Society, with proceeds from vendor registrations supporting the library through funding for books, furniture, programs, and other community initiatives,” said Kindra Birss, Head Librarian at the Coaldale Public Library.

Birss stated that the fair will feature talented local artisans selling handmade goods and people are invited to stop by throughout the day to browse the vendors, support local artisans, and enjoy a fun day at the library.

 “We always look forward to this event,” said Birss. “It’s a great way to celebrate local makers while giving back to the library at the same time.” “The event has become a favourite community tradition and a wonderful opportunity to shop local and discover unique creations.”
