Fire restriction lifted in Lethbridge County

Lethbridge County

Effective Tuesday, Sept 8, the Fire Restriction in Lethbridge County has been lifted. 

The fire risk has been reduced due to recent precipitation and cooler temperatures.

Fires and devices allowed under the County’s Fire Bylaw:  

-Controlled burns (e.g., yard waste, burn pits) – permit required

-Fireworks – permit required

-Recreational campfires (in approved fire pits)

-Burn barrels and incinerators with spark arrestors

-Charcoal briquette barbecues

-Gas/propane heaters, stoves, barbecues (CSA/ULC approved)

-Wood pellet grills

-Gas/propane firepits/rings (CSA/ULC approved)
