Copperheads gain playoff berth Four-game winning streak for the Snakes

A solid past two weekends on a four-game winning streak, completed the Coaldale Copperheads’ regular season play.
Ending the season with a final league record of 24-12-2 earned the Snakes a third-place finish gaining a playoff berth.
First round of playoffs will see the Copperheads matching up against sixth place finish Medicine Hat Cubs. The best of three game series will have the Snakes with home advantage.
Game One was confirmed to be played in Medicine Hat at the Kinplex Arena Thursday.
Game Two will be at the Coaldale Snake Pit Saturday at 8:30 p.m.
Fans will need to wait for updated information if Game 3 is needed, which will be held Sunday at one of the two locations — depending on ice availability.
Cost to the Snakes home rink for the round of playoffs is set at $7 for adults and $4 for youth.
